Quick Ironing Board Table Cover

Published by christinem at 4:10 pm under sewing Edit This

Here’s a timesaver: make a protective cover for the table nearest your sewing machine.  It isn’t really an ironing board.  But it can serve as one.  And, well, I nearly ruined the wood just putting scrap of fabric underneath.

So here is the solution.  One each leftover piece of batting, muslin, and French Country print.

I am madly stash busting this weekend.  I have sewn up no less than ten yards of stash fabric.

Since I was unable to make a commitment to any pattern for the sixteen yards necessary to slipcover either of the two pieces of furniture in need… I ordered ten yards of prints I like in one and two yard increments so I can see them here among the other fabrics.  Now I have to make room.
